Emily and Jon met in their college days. Though they didn't attend the same college, their schools were very close in distance. One day they met downtown and kept in touch. Unintentionally, they would bump into each other here and there, until they finally decided to go out. The chemistry between this couple is so refreshing. Even while I was snapping away, it was clear to me that these two were really in love. At their request, we headed over to the battery at one point to capture some gorgeous shots of the spot where Jon popped the question. I love that - these pictures are so personalized and meaningful to these guys, and those are my favorite kind of photos! At the end of our session, it began to rain, and we ended up hiding out where we could keep dry. Thankfully, the rain held off until towards the end of our shoot! We made the best of that dreary weather by chatting and getting to know each other better. I really enjoyed my time with these two, and I can't wait to capture the beauty of their wedding day!
I absolutely LOVE Something Turquoise. Its a blog written by a wonderful woman named Jen. She loves the Lord and blogs all things wedding & crafting. Check out her blog for wonderful inspiration! She featured an image from Rian & Jionte's lovely Engagement Session

Have a lovely Wednesday, friends!
I got the special privlage of taking Kelsey and Ryan's Engagement photos earlier this month at Mekpin Abbey in Moncks Corner, SC. We had so much fun exploring this beautiful location. The gorgeous golden field and bright sunny day were a perfect mash-up! I even convinced them to climb up in an old tree trunk. Talk about awesome! Kelsey is just gorgeous and Ryan is obviously head over heels for his girl. Kelsey and Ryan are going to be married later this year at The Gatherings. So happy for you guys! Enjoy their sweet and southern engagement session!
Meet Kelly & Jake. A couple completely in love and crazy about each other. They came to charleston, from NC, for a weekend trip and wanted a session that represented Charleston. So we hit the streets of downtown then headed over to Folly Beach for some sunset pictures. It was so great getting to know this sweet couple. Congrats Kelly + Jake. Here's to many wonderful years together! Blessings
