Christy & Jamie {High Cotton Wedding | Charleston SC}
Christy and Jamie were married in the private courtyard of High Cotton Restaurant in downtown Charleston, with their reception to follow in the French Quarter Room. Before I delve into the details of their sweet, intimate wedding, can I first say that I loved working with these guys?! From the moment I met them, I could tell they were star-struck in love. We roamed around downtown, and I'm not sure who had more fun. I mean, what photographer doesn't love it when the bride says, "Can we run out and take a photo in the middle of the road?" Christy was very involved in planning the details of this gorgeous wedding, and with the help of her mother and aunt, they made the whole day a success. Christy's flowers had a wildflower inspiration feel with a pop of bright pink, and both Christy and Jamie's children carried classic Charleston sweetgrass flowers, wrapped in burlap. How amazing is their cake? Can you believe it was made by one of Christy's friends? I know, my jaw dropped as well when I learned that fact. Have fun swooning over these photos!
Thank you to Christy and Jamie for allowing me to participate in the beauty of your big day! All the best to the both of you as you begin your lives together in marriage!

Sam and Sierra {The Gatherings of Dorchester Wedding}"
"Marriage, if anything, is the combining of two separate streams into one river. It is a merger of two souls into one. It is an experience in synergism for two people working together in yoke can always do more than the sum of what two individuals can accomplish. Marriage is a wonderful experience in humility as you realize that you are not perfect but together you are seeking to help each other climb closer to God, who is the author of Marriage. Marriage is a triangle. The more that the man and woman climb closer to God the closer they become to each other. Marriage is one man and one woman trying together to bring glory to God and growth for each other."
-Rev. Charles Davis, Grandfather to Sierra

Sara and Aaron {Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Wedding}
Sara and Aaron were married February 15th at "The Carriage House" at the beautiful Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. A lot of their details were DIY and they did such a great job on them! Sara, with the help of her friends/family, arranged all of the flowers and Sara even made the men's boutonnières. The ceremony was right at sunset and the light was just gorgeous setting over the water. Sara got all of her girls these incredibly comfy robes from Target and had them monogrammed for each bridesmaid. I loved them so much i literally went out the next day and bought one! Girls, go get one! You will be glad you did :) Congratulations Sara and Aaron!
