Shannon and Nicholas {Millstone at Adams Pond Wedding}

I met Shannon and her mom earlier this year over a cup of coffee. We hit it off right away and I've been excited about her wedding day ever since! Shannon and Nicholas got married earlier this month, at the beautiful Millstone at Adams Pond in Columbia, SC. It was an absolutely beautiful day filled to the brim with love, family and a wonderful group of friends. This location is one of my favorites in Columbia, SC for a wedding! Christy & Jamie {High Cotton Wedding | Charleston SC}

Christy and Jamie were married in the private courtyard of High Cotton Restaurant in downtown Charleston, with their reception to follow in the French Quarter Room. Before I delve into the details of their sweet, intimate wedding, can I first say that I loved working with these guys?! From the moment I met them, I could tell they were star-struck in love. We roamed around downtown, and I'm not sure who had more fun. I mean, what photographer doesn't love it when the bride says, "Can we run out and take a photo in the middle of the road?" Christy was very involved in planning the details of this gorgeous wedding, and with the help of her mother and aunt, they made the whole day a success. Christy's flowers had a wildflower inspiration feel with a pop of bright pink, and both Christy and Jamie's children carried classic Charleston sweetgrass flowers, wrapped in burlap. How amazing is their cake? Can you believe it was made by one of Christy's friends? I know, my jaw dropped as well when I learned that fact. Have fun swooning over these photos!

Rachel + Chris {Legend Oaks Golf Club Wedding}

Rachel and Chris are a classic example of how love comes when you least expect it. The two worked together, and I guess you could say that worked out pretty well. From co-workers to best friends to now husband and wife, Rachel and Chris were married on a gorgeous August day at Legend Oaks Golf Club. This couple's family traveled down from up north to be a part of their wedding day, so Rachel and Chris wanted to make sure they were able to experience some genuine Southern beauty. The majestic oak trees were just the ticket, I'd say, wouldn't you? Congratulations to Rachel and Chris on your recent marriage, and thank you for allowing me to play a part in your big day!
