Sara and Aaron {Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Wedding}

Sara and Aaron were married February 15th at "The Carriage House" at the beautiful Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. A lot of their details were DIY and they did such a great job on them! Sara, with the help of her friends/family, arranged all of the flowers and Sara even made the men's boutonnières. The ceremony was right at sunset and the light was just gorgeous setting over the water. Sara got all of her girls these incredibly comfy robes from Target and had them monogrammed for each bridesmaid. I loved them so much i literally went out the next day and bought one! Girls, go get one! You will be glad you did :) Congratulations Sara and Aaron!

Kelsey and Ryan {Mepkin Abbey Engagement}

I got the special privlage of taking Kelsey and Ryan's Engagement photos earlier this month at Mekpin Abbey in Moncks Corner, SC. We had so much fun exploring this beautiful location. The gorgeous golden field and bright sunny day were a perfect mash-up! I even convinced them to climb up in an old tree trunk. Talk about awesome! Kelsey is just gorgeous and Ryan is obviously head over heels for his girl. Kelsey and Ryan are going to be married later this year at The Gatherings. So happy for you guys! Heather + Jimmy {Charleston, SC Wedding}

  This GORGEOUS southern chic wedding was absolutely perfect. From the old 1700's Church to the incredible band. From start to finish it was fabulous. Heather and Jimmy were married early February at St. James Santee Episcopal and had their reception at the beautiful Alhambra Hall in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The church was packed so full of their guests that every single seat was taken! Talk about a loved couple...I think my favorite part of the night was the band...Other Brother Entertainment did their music and DJ'ing and ROCKED the house! Congratulations Heather & Jimmy. Blessings for many years to come!

Jeremiah + Mindy {Charleston, SC}

So, obviously I'm not very diligent when it comes to keeping up this oh-so-interesting blog of mine, but I'm working on it... Its a new year with so many new and wonderful possibilities and Im resolving to not only share my latest and greatest, but to keep you interested as well! You probably recognize Jeremiah and Mindy from their wedding pictures I put up a few months ago. Jeremiah is one of my 9 brothers and sisters (yeah, NINE!) and Mindy is his new beautiful bride. Jeremiah is a musician/music producer/graphic designer, based out of Orlando, Fl and he owns Emissary Studios. While they were visiting Charleston this Christmas I got the opportunity to help out one of my other brothers, Seth, with a acoustic music video he was doing for Jeremiah. Seth is a videographer and owns Ivory and Iron. You can see the video here.

Since Jeremiah and Mindy never technically got an "engagement session",  we had a fun impromptu session after the video shoot. With only about 30 minutes of daylight left we were rushing but I think they turned out so beautiful. There also just happened to be a few controlled brush fires in this gorgeous open field  and we obviously HAD to take advantage of that.
