Katie & Adam {Charleston, SC Wedding}

I could not be more excited to share this wonderful couples wedding! I met Katie and Adam last year when I had the pleasure of photographing their Engagement Session. To be honest, this couple has inspired me in so ways! I remember leaving their engagement session thinking "this is why I love what I do!". I felt the same way as I was leaving their gorgeous wedding. They are so insanely in love with each other. It's hard to miss! Whenever I wanted a good picture all I had to do was tell Adam to look at his bride...SWOON. They tied the knot at their home church St. Andrews Church . Followed with a reception at Alhambra Hall in Mt. Pleasant, SC. I just need to brag on Katie a little and say that she did all her flowers herself AND made her wedding veil! It was outrageously beautiful.

Let me just say...If you want to make me (or any photog) happy, take a que from these guys. They were very intentional about carving out enough time to take a quick trip downtown for photos after the ceremony of just the two of them and even thought ahead and planned time during the reception to leave when the sun started setting to get gorgeous sunset photos (my favorite, by the way!). I have to admit my favorite part of shooting weddings is the time I spend with the Bride and Groom getting their portraits. ESPECIALLY at sunset with that gorgeous golden light!

It was more than an honor to be a part of their wedding day. I always feel so lucky with the wonderful clients I get to work with and Katie and Adam have a special place in my photographer heart! Thank you guys for letting me play a role in your wedding day and love story. It was BEYOND perfect.

Jade & Jamie {Brays Island Wedding}

If you are thinking about having an outdoor Ceremony Brays Island Plantation is the place to do it! This venue took my breath away. The beautiful oak trees, spanish moss and golden sunlight over the water seriously make up the most beautiful backdrop for this wedding. Jade and Jamie are two of the most genuine and kind people. Their wedding day was just gorgeous! Jade wore her grandmothers wedding gown and she couldn't have been more beautiful. Jerri with Ooh! Events did a wonderful job coordinating this fabulous wedding. Check out their awesome gift that they left at each guests place setting (glass lace coasters!). From beginning to end I enjoyed every second I spent shooting this wedding. Congratulations Jade and Jamie!

Annie + Harry {Litchfield Country Club Wedding}

Over the memorial day weekend, Annie and Harry were married under a beautiful oak at  Litchfield Country Club in Pawley's Island, SC. This was my first trip to Pawley's Island and I really enjoyed it! Annie did such a fantastic job planning her wedding. Every detail was thought out and she didn't miss a thing! She even thought to provide all her guests with sunscreen, bottled water, bug spray and take-home straw fans during her outdoor ceramony (love it!). I also loved that she chose to make sweetgrass bouquets vs. the traditional flowers. They looked awesome! Annie and Harry have such a genuine love and respect for one another and their wedding really reflected that. Im so happy for you both! Congratulations Annie and Harry!
