Shannon LeCompte | Downtown Charleston Bridal | Charleston Wedding Photographer
There are probably 1,049 reasons why I absolutely LOVE Bridal sessions. One of which being that I get to spend some one-on-one time photographing a lovely&beaming Bride in a beautiful dress. It's divine. Shannon and I had a lot of fun walking around downtown. This girl is so photogenic and natural in front of the camera, which made for a really relaxed session! I have been anxiously waiting for Shannon and Nick's Wedding to come so I could finally share these lovely photos! Congrats to the wonderful Bride and Groom!
Laurie & Colin {Kiawah Island | Engagement}
I'm so excited to be sharing this lovely Kiawah Island engagment session with you all today! There's no better way to start out a Wednesday ;) Laurie & Colin met 5 years ago at a birthday party. Laurie had gone to the party as a guest of her sister, with absolutely no intention of meeting her future husband that night. But little did she know, she would. They ended up talking and mingling at the party, which led to a date just 3 days later! Isn't that usually how love happens though? I've had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people, Laurie and Colin included, and it seems that most of my clients' stories have one similar thread running through - when we are free to love and live our life, a lasting love shows up when we are not expecting it...at all.
These two love birds wanted to have their session on Kiawah Island, which was great, because I enjoyed exploring a destination that I don't normally get to shoot at. These guys were so fun and laid back, and I can't wait to work with them more!
Enjoy the loveliness!
Emily & Jon {Downtown Charleston | Engagement}
Emily and Jon met in their college days. Though they didn't attend the same college, their schools were very close in distance. One day they met downtown and kept in touch. Unintentionally, they would bump into each other here and there, until they finally decided to go out. The chemistry between this couple is so refreshing. Even while I was snapping away, it was clear to me that these two were really in love. At their request, we headed over to the battery at one point to capture some gorgeous shots of the spot where Jon popped the question. I love that - these pictures are so personalized and meaningful to these guys, and those are my favorite kind of photos! At the end of our session, it began to rain, and we ended up hiding out where we could keep dry. Thankfully, the rain held off until towards the end of our shoot! We made the best of that dreary weather by chatting and getting to know each other better. I really enjoyed my time with these two, and I can't wait to capture the beauty of their wedding day!
Shannon and Nicholas {Millstone at Adams Pond Wedding}
I met Shannon and her mom earlier this year over a cup of coffee. We hit it off right away and I've been excited about her wedding day ever since! Shannon and Nicholas got married earlier this month, at the beautiful Millstone at Adams Pond in Columbia, SC. It was an absolutely beautiful day filled to the brim with love, family and a wonderful group of friends. This location is one of my favorites in Columbia, SC for a wedding! Its rustic charm and beautiful scenery is sure to compliment any wedding day. Congratulations to the beautiful couple, here is to many blessed years together! Vendors:
