I am so excited to share Megan and Marvin's wedding day! These two exchanged vows under a gorgeous oak tree at Hampton Park in Charleston, SC. Their ceremony was rich in love and full of laughter and sweet moments. They spent the rest of their wedding day on The Carolina Queen Riverboat with their closest friends and family. Her life reflects joy, love and peace, and I knew that would carry over to her wedding day. Well, I was right – her wedding day was one for the books. Gibbon was stunning and appeared so relaxed. Both Bryan and Gibbon were just such a pleasure to work with!

We all know how our world views marriage – just look at how it is depicted negatively in the media. But there are those couples that I can tell are just going to defy the odds and break down those stereotypes, and I know that is exactly what Gibbon and Bryan will see come out of their marriage.
The sweet couple was married on the grounds of the Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation. It was nothing but sunny, and the air was perfect. The scalding Charleston summer heat seemed to leave us alone for this one time, and it was a glorious day for an outside wedding. Set amidst the backdrop of the Ashley River, Gibbon and Bryan stood under the towering oaks before their family and friends to declare their commitment of forever love. It was a moving experience as their pastor shared a message on love, and as I was taking photos, I kept smiling because I could just see it on their faces – the overwhelming love Gibbon & Bryan share for each other.
Their reception was inside of the Carriage House, which was decorated with soft linens and lush greenery. As the band played in the background, guests poured in and took in the breathtaking venue. The bride and groom danced away, and I’m pretty sure the speeches brought everyone to tears. It was a night to remember, and I’m so glad these photos will always be there for them to recall all of their treasured memories.
