Kate & Nate {Charleston, SC Wedding}
Kate and Nate are two of the most incredible and genuine people. They were such a joy to work with. They got married at Second Presbyterian Church in downtown Charleston with a reception at The South Carolina Aquarium. Kate is a professional ballerina, a graphic designer and a wonderful artist! She designed all of the details and programs for her wedding guests and is so talented! Im a big fan of their blue, blush & gold color palette. It was the perfect compliment to their Aquarium reception setting. I especially loved their idea of a Donut Table instead of a wedding cake. Kate isn't a big fan of cake so i think this was the perfect alternative. The grooms cake is awesome, though. Make sure to check that out! Congratulations Kate and Nate. It was such an honor to be a part of you wedding day!

Christie & Davey {Deland, FL Wedding}
Christie and Davey got hitched earlier in late June under a beautiful oak in Deland, FL. Everything about this wedding has me swooning. Christie poured her heart and soul into planning this gorgeous event and with her team of talented friends they were able to put the vision together and they honestly couldn't have done anything better. This is a vintage/earthy inspired wedding done right! They ceremony was so beautiful and raw. These two have such hearts for each other...Before the ceremony started Davey and Christie exchanged gifts. Davey surprised christie with a song that he wrote & played for her (via video) and I can honestly say ive never heard or seen anything sweeter.
I could go on and on about all of the fabulous details but I will let you see for yourself!
Congratulations Davey and Christie!

Erin & Charles {Pepper Plantation Wedding}
Erin and Charles were married earlier this month at Pepper Plantation in Awendaw, SC. Ive really enjoyed getting to know this wonderful couple. They had a gorgeous ceremony outdoors under a bright blue sky, surrounded by close friends and family. Emily from Breeze coordinated and did such a beautiful job bringing all of the rustic & personal details together. I loved the touches of burlap and wrought iron lanterns all throughout their plantation wedding. It truly was a beautiful day all around and I couldn't be happier for these two. Congratulations Erin and Charles!

Fifteen years of shooting Charleston weddings taught me this: the best photographer for you isn’t the one with the flashiest portfolio. Here’s what actually matters when you’re picking someone to capture your day, from style fit to turnaround time to what “unposed” really means.
